A research desk that shows its reasoning.
Why this exists
Crypto media fails in two directions.
- Fast and shallow — headlines in minutes, the same wire copy on forty sites, no mechanism.
- Deep and late — excellent work, a week after it was useful.
We sit in the gap: depth at the speed of the story. Possible only because the mechanical work is automated and the judgement is not.
How it is made
Collection, scoring, clustering and fact-checking run as software. It reads the wires a newsroom reads and checks every number against its sources before a draft exists.
What stays human: which story leads, every opinion, every correction, every reply, and the decision to publish. Nothing reaches a reader without a person approving it — a constraint in the system, not a policy we intend to follow.
Fifteen named stages run that pipeline, and we watch them on a board that shows which is working and which has never run at all. That board is an operating tool rather than a page for readers — what it would tell you about our standards, the methodology says directly.
What we sell
Nothing, for now. Free while we build, and the free tier will never be degraded to sell a paid one.
Independence is the only asset here. Every rule in the methodology exists to protect it.
